Abstract:

In this paper, the researchers present a multi-objective linear fractional inventory model using fuzzy pro-gramming. The proposed method in this paper is applied to a problem with two objective functions. The re-sulted fuzzy model is transformed into an ordinary linear programming. The implementation of the develop-ing model presented in this paper is demonstrated through the use of some numerical examples.

Fuzzy Set Approach to Solve Multi-objective Linear plus Fractional Programming Problem

In this paper we upgraded the Luhandjula’s method (Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 13(1), (1984), 11-23) for multiple objective linear plus fractional programming problems (MOL+FPP) with modification given by Dutta et al. (Fuzzy Sets and System, 52(1), (1992), 39-45). The aim of this paper is to show new fuzzy set approach for MOL+FPP by defining new membership function for linear function part and si...

A Multi-Objective Approach to Fuzzy Clustering using ITLBO Algorithm

Data clustering is one of the most important areas of research in data mining and knowledge discovery. Recent research in this area has shown that the best clustering results can be achieved using multi-objective methods. In other words, assuming more than one criterion as objective functions for clustering data can measurably increase the quality of clustering. In this study, a model with two ...

A Possibility Linear Programming Approach to Solve a Fuzzy Single Machine Scheduling Problem

This paper employs an interactive possibility linear programming approach to solve a single machine scheduling problem with imprecise processing times, due dates, as well as earliness and tardiness penalties of jobs. The proposed approach is based on a strategy of minimizing the most possible value of the imprecise total costs, maximizing the possibility of obtaining a lower total costs, and mi...

A Parametric Approach for Solving Multi-Objective Linear Fractional Programming Phase

In this paper a multi - objective linear fractional programming problem with the fuzzy variables and vector of fuzzy resources is studied and an algorithm based on a parametric approach is proposed. The proposed solving procedure is based on the parametric approach to find the solution, which provides the decision maker with more complete information in line with reality. The simplicity of the ...
